Due to its all-round performance in every category, the new iPhone 6s Plus is the best thing to come out from Apple’s inventory in past few years. Thankfully the price remains the same as the old iPhone 6 Plus.

In 2015, Apple adopted the “S” models as its company’s hallmark for the iPhone. Our iPhone review compares the old iPhone 6 Plus with the new iOS 9 powered iPhone 6s Plus.

The new iPhone 6s Plus, an epitome of the Apple brand, gets its updates with a new upgraded iOS 9 software and important specs. The exterior remains the same as the old iPhone 6 Plus. So why should you be interested in buying a phone that is not overhauled from the inside out? It turns out there are quite a few convincing reasons for you to have the new iPhone 6s Plus if you are on the fence.

iPhone 6S Plus specs & hardware

The 64-bit A9 processors, which get the job done swiftly with no lags, back the new iPhone 6s Plus. It packs a fairly small 2750 mAh battery compared to some models of android devices. The 5.5 inches 1080 screen has a 401 PPI, and it looks very cool to look at.

The iPhone 6s Plus has a new color option in rose gold, but looks almost the same as last year's model.

Software

The iOS 9 in the new iPhone 6s Plus and 6s comes with few new and amazing features. The first one is the function called the 3D touch. It lets you press the screen harder, which opens another layer of interactive functionalities to choose from. These are the functions most of the Apple fanboys were waiting for, and they got it in iPhone 6s Plus and 6s. It also improves the functions of Apple Pay, and it is like a treat to use. Everything else remains the same in IOS 9.

Camera

Photography is another area where iPhone excels to the very best, and it only got better in the new iPhone 6s Plus. The camera lens has been upgraded from 8MP to a solid 12MP lens, and it takes the best photos we have seen from any phone this year. The front selfie camera has also been enhanced to the 5MP shooter, and the front-facing flash also gets a boost.

Performance & battery life

The user experience on the new iPhone is improved with the powerful 64-bit A9 chip processor from Apple. It is a good processor with solid performance. This continues the tradition that Apple keeps giving the best experience to consumers. The new iPhones only have 2GB of Ram but can handle multitasking operations.

Siri remains the same in this iteration of iPhone 6s Plus and 6s. But competitors like Google Now and Cortana are constantly improving their functionalities. The battery in the new phone comes as a breath of fresh air for the Apple fans. It has over 5 hours of screen-on time, and moderate use will get you over two days of battery life.
