Mark Zuckerberg has been the world’s youngest billionaire. Mark is also the co-founder and currently the CEO of the world’s largest social media website, Facebook. He became a skilled programmer when he was only 12 years old. This got him into Harvard university, and in his sophomore year at the college, he invented Facebook in his dormitory.

Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14, 1984 in New York to a well-educated and middle class family. His father, Edward, is a dentist while his mother, Karen, is a well-known psychiatrist. Mark grew up in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Mark Zuckerberg shares a few Facebook success secrets that have made him what he is today. He said he wouldn’t be a success story without them.

Dream and don’t give up–Mark Zuckerberg

All the people who have become successful in life always have some set rules and secrets that they think are most important for their success. In the eyes of Mark Zuckerberg, the successful internet entrepreneur, the most important thing to become successful in life is never to give up. This might be the best advice anybody can ever give. But people always seem to forget this during their life struggles.

"When you start a business, you begin a journey, a process. This process has a beginning and an ending and between the beginning and ending are a lot of challenges. You will win only if you remain faithful to the process."

Mark Zuckerberg emphasizes on the fact that you should always have something to dream about in life. “You should have a vision and a passion for it,” he says. “And that will give you enough courage and strength not to give up on your dream,” he concludes.

Most people think Facebook was just created in a day and became an overnight success. Not true! Actually, Mark Zuckerberg dreamt about it for years and started working on it at Harvard. He got the friends he needed for the project, who encouraged him as they worked hard together to get it done.

Always think big but start small

The social media entrepreneur believes that anyone, regardless of their financial status, can have ambitious goals but start with little expenses. Having ambitious goals expands your perspective, motivates your vision, reminds you of your potential, and enables you to combine all your talents to achieve your dream.

The CEO admonishes us to believe in ourselves, but most importantly, we should also be prepared for the worst in pursuing our dreams, since we never know how situations will turn out on this journey. “Start at a relatively smaller level, so if you have some hiccups on the way, it wouldn’t hurt your dream too much and you can always bounce back,” he says

Taking Risk is Necessary: People who are just average and afraid of change in their lives never become extraordinary. Success without the element of risk is boring. Without risk and uncertainly, the world would stand still. Mark is a huge risk taker himself. Facebook, too, is a great gamble. As he left college to harness his brain child, anything could have happened, but he believed in himself.

Staying Focused: With entrepreneurship, staying focused is of prime importance. Remember Zuckerberg! "When you start a business, you begin a journey, a process. This Process has a beginning and an ending and between the beginning and ending are a lot of challenges. You will win only if you remain faithful to the process."
